We also have a coffee table, half blue, the same terrible our walls are white and our red carpet!
The thing is, the place, because I can not criticize others for rent, store, theres no place that I can in any case, no new furnature advice or colors or patterns that look in your opinion?

Get a sheet of paper, Nice color. The biggest you can find. Place above the bed and slide into the arms and cushions. You could beige, white, brown, what do you think goes with the carpet. Get a couple of pillows, solid or patterned, combines together the look. It might even be able to find these things in a secondhand shop.
Get a small towel on the coffee table. Maybe you can match the pillows.

Follow these stripes in dark brown. These bags microfiber that is amazing and I think the chocolate brown that look good at home. In addition, a bonus of this bag now available for a very good price. On the coffee table, I have never seen a coffee table blue, but maybe you could paint.
You can purchase sheets of solid color to your couch, towels cover the tables fill yout very expensive .... I'm sorry, I have no idea what to do with a red carpet, Tho .... unless you buy an area rug to cover .... or bamboo mats ....
